How I met DJStroky
Met him in the lobby of Northwest Afternoon as we waited to be on the show. Later, he was given a chance to complete one of his goals on television: try 10 new vegetables.

I think it was him.
I went to the store after work and I’m 95% sure I saw a Buster Mcleod. This guy was really, really tall.
Anyway, as soon as I saw him in the aisle, I ran away. Then I remember my goals about being less shy and more out going and so forth. So I said to myself, ”What’s the worse that could happen? He could yell, ‘Who the (bleep) are you? Get the (bleep)away from me.’ Then pull out a gun and shoot me?” (I’ve been watching a lot mob movies lately.)
I figured the odds of this happening were pretty slim so I gathered up all my little courage and said, “Hello”.
From the look on his face, I think he thought I was about to ask him for some spare change but he was polite. He didn’t shoot me.
I wanted to say, “Thank you guys so much for 43things. Whether you guys realize it or not, you’ve really helped a lot of people who needed it. When I found the site I was surrounded by pessimist twho were terrified of change. It was so nice to finally “meet” other people who were saying, ’I know there has got to be more to life than this.’ and ’Other people are happy and live there dreams. Why not me?” I knew there had to be others. I just couldn’t find them. Thanks for the help.”
Unfortunately my nerves took over and all I came out of my mouth was, “I like your site.” or “Your site is neat”. It was something dorky like that. Then I took off. Oh well. Its the thought that counts.
I’d like to meet some of my robots. It would be interesting to meet Buster. I’ll bet he has some interesting stories to tell.
Was at the greatest NYE party, ever! And, I didn’t end up in any closets! Yay!
the best nye party possibly ever thrown in seattle! he seemed very relaxed for just having exposed his soul in the form of a new space to hundreds of people. i think he embraced it well and had a marvelous time like the rest of us.
He has a secret that he says would make front page CNN and he won’t tell me because he doesn’t want me to be rich. I will not forget this!
Buster is a drinker. His drink is whiskey & soda, a drink that Todd Gehman claims to have invented.
The thing you probably didn’t know about him is that he will probably keep his name Buster McLeod. Another thing is, he may go round 3 with it.
Oh hurrah! Lemme tell you—Buster is fun. He party-partied with me and made me feel right at ease when I was far far away from home. He also provided excellent recommendations to me. One evening I was unsure what beer to order and Buster quickly piped up suggesting the pumpkin beer. That was exactly what I wanted, I just hadn’t realized it yet. Then, the last time I hung out with Buster, he recommended I order the cowboy taco for brunch and holy cow! Definitely one of my most memorable meals in Seattle. Buster is super cool.
She drinks like a rockstar. Or, is it that she drinks Rockstar? Actually, she drinks Rockstar like a rockstar. Go rockstar go!
I do spanning_time, Buster does Life Amplification. They’re different approaches on what seems (to me anyway) to be the same life philosophy. I like Buster because our two sets of ideals resonate, and I know I can always count on him for an interesting time. Plus, the hair changes are interesting to keep track of.
